Bill Ball and his group from Tappahannock got hung in traffic and we got a little late start at about 8:30am but we found the fishing to be good. We landed fish steady for several hours catching our limit and releasing a few others. It looks like things are really getting ready to take off here at the Beach.  Things are starting later here than recent years and we look forward to catching these fish Thru Feb.Check out our calendar page and book your trip today.

After the Storm
Written by Capt. Duby Lowery
Saturday, 15 December 2007

Fishing leading up to this big storm brewing off the coast will certainly shake things up and we expect the fish to get closer. The last few trips have found the Anna Lynn way up the coast and fighting off the big blues all day. The fish have been mixed up with nice rockfish and blues in the same schools.  We expect the storm to shake things up and move the majority of the blues off the coast and push the rockfish closer to VA Beach. The next few weeks should be interesting with the fishing improving with each trip. The picture with this report is from a few days ago when Stacey, Anna and Chloe joined some family members on the Anna Lynn for a fun day of fishing.
